Tips & Tricks

Starting Out

• The "Help" menu accessed via the pause screen should be able to answer any basic questions you may have.
  • If you find that you cannot pause, there may be an event happening. Make sure you save often!
• Look around your base, there are extra items that may help you during game play, such as extra gas cans and drives.
• The compass at the bottom of the screen can be pointed at various points of interest using the 'sv.target' command.
• Make sure to keep an eye on your power, you can check it via the satellite console command 'tr.check'.
  • You can use the 'sv.target' command to target the transformers directly, they are named 'TR_0', 'TR_1', and 'TR_2'.

More Basics

• The 3 points on the radar are you, the ATV and a camera mounted outside to the top left of the front door.
• Make sure your satellites are calibrated correctly, this can be done via the satellite console by typing 'sd.calch [satellite name]' or 'sd.calall' to calibrate all satellites at once. Note that if a satellite server is not responding, then 'sd.calall' will not continue upon an attempt to ping the broken server.
• The ATV has both a parking brake and headlights, toggled with space and F respectively.

Other Tidbits

• Letting the ATV roll downhill can be used to conserve fuel.
  • In addition, the player can quickly break in order to prevent the ATV from rag-dolling down steep declines. Rag-dolling off the ATV can damage Kel and/or cause the player to lose/damage the ATV.
