"This data sucks."

This article is a stub. You can help by expanding it.

Voices Of The Void has multiple entities and creatures which can be observed and documented by the player. Entities can be divided into a few categories based on their spawn criteria.
These criteria include random event entities, player action triggers, story mode event spawns, and a few secret or easter-egg entities.

Wildlife

For more information, see Entities/Wildlife.
Entity Wildlife Forest.png

Wildlife is the most common type of entity that can spawn in-game and is compromised mostly of non-hostile animals. While some animals can attack the player, the player usually has to go out of their way to disturb the wildlife rather than them being hostile by nature.

Wildlife such as deer can be found wandering around the map, fish can be fished out of water sources, wasps can be found via digging, and fireflies fly around and glow during the night.

Extraterrestrials

For more information, see Entities/Extraterrestrial Entities.

Extraterrestrials (or "aliens") are creatures which appear in the game but do not originate from the planet Earth. While many of the extraterrestrials are connected to the important alien factions established throughout the game, there are quite a few unaligned aliens and simple aliens in the game. Their status as aliens does not determine their attitude towards the player. Many story mode events involve aliens in some way or another, and they're generally some of the most important creatures to the background story of Voices of the Void.

Extraterrestrial Factions

These 4 factions are the most important alien forces, being the major alien groups that appear throughout the game and interact with the player in many various ways.

Arirals

For lore, see Arirals.
Entity Arirals.png

Arirals are the first aliens that the player will encounter in story mode and by far the species with the most frequent and complex interactions with the player. They are pranksters with a consistent desire to spook and scare the player as they progress through the game, but seem to be quite kind and genuinely mean no true harm to the player other than having some fun at their expense.

For the entities page, see Entities/Arirals.

Grays

For lore, see Grays.

As of Pre-Alpha 0.7, Grays finally have their own random and story mode events and will continue receiving even more content with 0.7.1 establishing themselves as the main intentionally hostile alien threat towards the player.

For the entities page, see Entities/Grays.

Rozitals

For lore, see Rozitals.
Entity Rozitals.png

Rozitals are an advanced Mechanical "species" that are brought to life via a Life crystal in their core, as well as being built from an exotic material called "anperfysium". Rotizals are generally quite complex, and many of them possess technology which gives them unique abilities such as flight, extreme strength and telekinesis. Their ship designs are simplistic yet very odd, and they tend to take the shape of cylinders or giant cubes. In terms of technological progression, Rozitals are more advanced than Arirals as they are capable of controlling wormholes with stabilizers, destroying/capturing supernatural entities such as wisps, and creating mutants such as "the Antibreather".

For the entities page, see Entities/Rozitals.

Space Goblins

For lore, see Space Goblins.

Currently unimplemented with minimal information known, but space goblins are the next important faction and species to be implemented after Grays.

For entities, see Entities/Space Goblins.

Anomalous Entities

For more information, see Entities/Anomalous Entities.
Entity AnomalousEntities.png

Anomalous Entities are creatures which seem to be out of place in Voices of the Void's "reality". They generally have unknown characteristics and origins, and tend to be enigmatic in nature. Most of the "Anomalies" relations to other in-game factions are unknown.

Wisps

Circular entities that emanate auras, come in multiple colors, and have various effects on the player and their perception. Wisps have the most variants of any existing entity.

Hallucinations

Entity Hallucinations.png

Entities that lack a conventional physical form and usually disappear or reappear based on specific circumstances. These hallucinations are not just visual delusions, but can interact with the player physically.

Forbiddens

For more information, see Entities/Forbiddens.
Entity Forbiddens.png

Forbidden is a classification given to entities that exist as a meta element of the game, usually only appearing under specific conditions, for a brief moment, or both.

Demons

For more information, see Entities/Demons.

Demons are entities of unholy origin or creatures summoned by hellish rituals.

Game-Ending Entities

For more information, see Entities/Game-Ending Entities.

Game-Ending entities are extremely rare entities which will cause the death of a player and result in a game-over screen. They are very dangerous and usually highly aggressive.

Joke Entities

For more information, see Entities/Joke Entities.

These entities are mainly humorous non-canon meme creatures found in secret areas or directly triggered via enabling "The Funny" toggle in settings and then inputting commands on the base console.
