SPOILER WARNING

This page contains spoilers!

Real-Life Time

The following events require the player's actual PC time to match a real world date and or time while playing the game. The player can manually change the date on their PC to access these events whenever they want, although it may require their save or game to be reloaded after editing the time.

April Fools

Event AprilFools.png
Spawn Condition(s):
- Guaranteed spawn on April 1st, every year.

All items with custom designs (carpet, paintings, rugs, posters) will have their image replaced with a troll face. The images will return to normal on the next real-life day.

Bad Sun

Event BadSun.png
Spawn Condition(s):
- Guaranteed spawn on the 24th of the month, provided the player hasn't already got the achievement for surviving it.
- Random chance per new day.

This event has two different spawn methods, the first being playing the game on the 24th of the real life month, in which this event is guaranteed when the next day starts. It will continue having a guaranteed spawn on every 24th day of the month until the player unlocks the achievement for surviving it. The other method is a very low random spawn chance whenever an in-game new day starts, unaffected by the previously mentioned achievement.

When the sun rises, a unique base alarm, different from the standard alarm from e.g. the warning obelisk event, will go off signifying something is very wrong. Unlike the standard alarm, the special alarm is not disabled by using the radar, and instead disables itself after a short time.

The sun itself is covered with a black box, seemingly censoring whatever it's been replaced with, and while the sun is on or nearby the screen, the player's vision will be dragged to stare directly at it. Standing in any open area where the sun can reach during this event will rapidly damage the player and cause them to drop bits of flesh that can be eaten. It will not deal damage or cause the player to drop chunks of flesh if seen through a window, although the other effects will still occur. Additionally, the daylight will be unusually bright throughout the day and will be significantly more yellow-tinted than normal.

Interestingly, viewing the sun indirectly (such as through a camera) does not cause any of the anomalous effects. The player's gaze will not be drawn to it, it will not be covered with a censor box, and it will not deal damage or cause the player to drop chunks of flesh.

During the entirety of the event, Meta Paranoia will be active.

Upon dying, the player will receive a unique game over, unlocking the You have seen everything achievement. Surviving the entire event unlocks the Bad Sun achievement and disables the guaranteed 24th spawn every month, although it could theoretically still happen via the other random chance spawn. It is recommended the player gets the achievement for dying first, that way they do not remove the guaranteed spawn and have to wait an indiscernible amount of time for it to happen again via chance.

Halloween

Spawn Condition(s):
- Halloween Game Mode is available from October 29th to November 2nd every year.

3AM Events

3AM events are triggered by a player doing something or being somewhere during this time. In real world folklore, 3AM is generally considered to be an unholy hour, usually representing the time in which the paranormal is at it's most active or sinister. The White Door Opens
