Overview

Batteries are items that can be used to recharge the player's flashlight. They can be found around the world or bought from the store.
The player will find two batteries in their suitcase and another one in base alpha behind the table in the living room.

Appearance

Batteries are tall, thin cylinders with a copper-orange top half and a black bottom half. The two halves are separated by a slightly darker orange strip that runs horizontally around the battery. They have a silver spot on top and what looks to be a logo on the black portion of their body. In terms of size and shape, the in-game batteries seem comparable to double-a batteries in real life.

Usage

The player can right click while holding a battery to either recharge their flashlight or swap out the existing one.
The selling price of a battery does not change depending on the charge level.
When microwaved, batteries will explode instantly.
Normal batteries can't be recharged, but Accumulator Batteries can.

• This is the only difference between the two items, otherwise they are functionally identical.

Trivia

• The description for the Remote Drone says it uses batteries, but as of Pre-Alpha 0.7.0, it can not. The description was not updated.
